Merry Christmas!

Yes, it is indeed time for that post!

We hope you all are having a great Christmas, wherever and however you're celebrating it, and we'd like to thank all of our wonderful friends and clients your continued support, and for making this a great year.
That's it, that's as holiday sentimental as it's gonna get!

Now, please enjoy this happy Christmas memory from our most recent trip to our cabin in the alps.

Lots of love from Allan, Flora Amalie, Matthew, Wendy and Lucifer!

Bookings and tattooey goodness

Hey there, a quick little booking update before the inevitable "Merry Christmas" post!

Matthew has taken most of December off to work on some non-tattoo related projects, mainly his paintings (follow him on instagram to see regular updates), but he is now booking for January and February and so is Wendy.
Some dates are already booked, of course, so hurry up and write them to secure the date you want now!

For booking with Wendy, send your ideas/placement/size/when you'd like to get tattooed to wendy_p@live.com.au, and to book with Matthew, send your ideas/placement/size/when you'd like to get tattooed to matthewgordon@live.com.au.
Easy as that!

And here are a few examples of their always awesome work, this time from actual cameras and not just our crappy phones.
I know, i spoil you!

Wednesday photo bonanza

Hey there, dear blog readers, i've got a quick little photo update for you.
No news, no big events coming up, just sweet normal everyday life... ahhh.

Walk-in Weekend was fun, but a little slow compared to last time, so it turned into painting weekend pretty quick, which was pretty great to be honest.
But don't worry if you missed it and wanted to get tattooed, it will happen again, sometime in the new year!

I just put a couple of original paintings by Uncle Allan up for sale on the web shop, so go check them out, but don't forget that you can also order custom paintings from him for a limited time.
Read more about that on his blog!

Ok, pictures!

Rikke came back to finish her epic grandma portrait with Uncle Allan

Nick is still selling the limited prints by Allan, Matthew and Wendy, so if you haven't already check them out, and see what else he has for sale in the store

New prints available!

I know i just blogged like 2 seconds ago, but guys, you're gonna wanna see this, ok?
Uncle Allan, Wendy Pham and Matthew Gordon have all very recently made some pretty fantastic paintings, and you can buy limited prints of them already.

No, they're not to be found in our web shop (although other great stuff still is!) because they are being sold exclusively over at Clandestine Republic, so head over there to do some serious Christmas shopping.
We are very excited about all of these, hope you like them too!

These two sheets are by the queen of skulls, ramen and hamsters; Wendy Pham. Obviously.
More to come tomorrow, and don't forget we'll be here all weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting at 1 pm/13.00.
See you there (and by there i mean here!)

The gang

... minus myself, of course.
Someone has to be the taker of the pictures, you know!

Speaking of Nick (as i was... kind of), his brand new book, Turbo Drome just got released today, and i know it would make him soooo happy if you bought one!
It's 48 pages, size is 10" by 10" on very nice paper, as always, and the price is only $20 US.
Oh, and there are two different covers to choose from!
So yeah, please go buy this bad boy, you won't regret it!

So fancy, can't wait to get my hands on one of these!

Heey... so that post i was gonna do to remind you of the Oktoberfest party?
Yeah, i didn't have time for that, because holy crap has this month been busy, but here's a little mixed update post, with lots of pictures from the party, and of course a few tattoos.

The party was so much fun... like, crazy fun!
Probably the best one we've even had, and that's probably because it involved costumes, food, drinking, and dancing, but no tattooing!
Our Halloween parties in Denmark were fun too, but people tend to wanna go home after getting tattooed (always leaving us as the only people wanting to hang out late), but this time most people hung around till 4 in the morning, so we finally got the party we wanted!
And while it wasn't an official opening party, it kinda was anyway, and we're happy it was such a good one, and we got to spend it with such lovely people.

Next up on the Conspiracy Agenda is Walk-in Weekend (November 8th - 10th), and i will certainly update you about that during the next week or so... promise!

Party decorations?

Uncle Allan, Oktoberfest edition!

Wendy, all done up in dirndl and wig!

I wore a wig and dirndl too, but sadly i didn't have any lederhosen for Lucifer...

All dressed up and ready to cook some weisswurst!

We weren't the only ones in costume, blurry Kinga dressed up too!

So did Jess and Amanda

Eating knödel with chopsticks is totally German, right?

And dancing!
Nope, that's definitely not a dance-off to Bootylicious... nope, no way...

The day after the party was Nick's birthday, and the day after that, we had a Dinobaby visit!
Another drawing night in the attic....

Also among our many recent visitors: my parents! And they brought us awesome stuff, like apples, homemade bread, skulls, and tons of other goodies, like this old filing cabinet

Some flea market finds, some fox skulls kindly donated by my parents' neighbors, and a sheep skull that my parents found in their village... swoon!

Ok, that's it for now, but i'll be back soon with some Walk-in Week updates!

Ps. Do you also really fucking hate feeling ripped off by after-Christmas sales in early January?
Yeah, that's annoying as hell, right?
Well, Clandestine Republic is having a pre-Christmas sale on the Red Box comic, all fancy gift wrapped and stuff. A sale when you actually need it, yay!

Pps. Sorry for even mentioning the C-word in October, it's very much not like me...
